West Hills Locksmith: 24/7 Mobile Lock & Key Service

West Hills was part of Owensmouth/Canoga Park until it was renamed in 1987, and much of it is made up of 1960s-80s suburban tract homes. Around the Shadow Ranch area and the Platt Village / Platt Ave corridor, the original Kwikset and Schlage builder hardware is now wearing out. We often see new owners of 1970s homes ask for all exterior doors to be rekeyed to one key, with a smart deadbolt added to the front door. We also see garage-to-house deadbolts that fail and jam, which can mean drilling, extracting the broken parts, and fitting a new lock.

Further out, the Valley Circle foothills toward the Bell Canyon edge have gated developments and hillside homes. There, a lost key can mean more than one lock: we match the pedestrian gate lock and the front deadbolt to the house key so one key works again. We work throughout ZIP codes 91307, 91304, and 91308, including the areas around Shadow Ranch Park, West Hills Hospital & Medical Center, and Chaminade College Preparatory. Call (323) 997-8867 any time.
